This article details existing Demo Stores for showing your end-client examples of our platform, in addition to creating your own Demo Store from scratch, copy, or template, and how to toggle this feature on and off. Please keep in mind that while the Demo Store feature reduces the hosting fee, this will prevent shoppers from checking out on the storefront. To entirely stop hosting fees for a Company Store, the store must be deleted, so see more on that process in this article.

Existing Demo Stores
All current Demo Stores for both Pop-Up Stores and Company Stores can be found at this link under the section titled 'Online Stores for every type of program'.
The specific ones that are for Company Stores are the following:
Creating a Demo Store
There are three ways you can create a Demo Store of your own. From scratch, from template, or from copying an existing Company Store in your Organization.
From Scratch
This will require additional setup before you can show this to your client, but this is the best way to have a fresh store without worrying about what a Template or a Store Copy may bring over that may need to be deleted or edited.
The page referenced for pricing details can also be found at this link.
From Template
This will require some additional setup before you can show this to your client, depending on if you choose the Template with Products, or without Products. With Products, this will have a set of pre-determined Products per Template that are brought into your new Demo Store.
Any current templates may be updated in the future, and expanded upon, so please check this section in your own environment for details of what each entails.
From Store Copy
This will require some additional setup before you can show this to your client, depending on the store that was copied. Please keep in mind that if you are copying a store that has custom coding from our Store Art team, that coding will also be copied. If this coding needs to be removed from the newly copied store, please submit a request to our Store Art team at this link.
Once your store has started the process of creating/copying, you'll see this notification in the top right, denoting that you'll receive a similar notification once the new store is ready.
How to Access the Demo Store Feature
When getting ready to open your store for shopping, an end-User or Admin may encounter the following error: "Sorry, there was a problem. This store is in Demo / Hold mode and does not accept orders."
The only way to correct this will be to navigate to the Features tab in the Admin Console, then the Add-Ons tab. From here, you'll see the Demo Store toggle, and this will need to be 'off' for the store to accept orders. Please keep in mind that once this is 'off', normal hosting fees will apply.
