Set Logo Permissions
With Permissions enabled, the logos can be configured to show or be hidden based on Categories, Products, Groups, Logo Locations and/or Colors.
After clicking the pencil (edit) icon on the logo (not pictured here):
- Navigate to the Permissions section for that logo.
- Select the area to be configured. Logo Permissions are based on the Category, Products, User Groups, Logo Locations, and Colors.
- Select one of the following:
- Show all except - This option will show all of the options except those checked.
- Hide all except - This option will hide all of the options except those checked.
- Check the exceptions. In this example, all categories of products will display this logo except the Tops, Print On Demand & Custom, and Setup Equipment categories.
- Click "Save" to apply your changes.
Note: Logo Permissions for Colors will only show sub-options if the Product Option is set to be a "Color." Additionally, all product options must be not configured to allow "multiple quantity" otherwise the Color permissions for logos will be bypassed.
For the Legacy Templates: When using Logo Permissions for Colors, if you have a template from 11/03/2021 or later, then after the shopper chooses a Logo, certain colors will be "greyed out" indicating they can't be selected. The same occurs if they select a Color first, then disallowed logos will be "greyed out" indicating that logo can't be selected.
When using Logo Permissions for Colors, if you have a template from before 11/03/2021, and if a shopper chooses a logo and color combination NOT allowed, they will receive an error.
For the New Template: If the user selects a logo/color combination that is not allowed, an error message will be displayed in the top right corner. Example below.

Note: Shoppers must be a registered User and signed into the storefront to upload their logo as this saves the uploaded file to their User account for future use. For more on what file types are supported for uploads, please see this article.
Require Logos on Individual Products
When the setting to Require Logos on all Products is turned off in Logo Management, logos can be required on individual products instead.
Show Logos as Thumbnails
When the setting to Show Logos as Thumbs is enabled, the logos appear as thumbnail images (left-hand example). With this setting turned off, the logos appear in a drop-down box (right-hand example).
