Starting Order number
The Starting Order Number field allows you to enter in information for what number you would like orders placed in your store to start on. If you change this number after orders have been placed in your store, then the first order placed after that change will have the new starting order number. You will also want to keep in mind that if your store has orders already, the order number you change it to will need to be higher than the order number on the most recent order your store has received.
The sort feature determines the order shared address will appear in on the checkout page. Once configured, shared addresses on the store will be sorted in that manner. By default however, shared addresses are sorted where the oldest address is at the top and newest address is at the bottom of the list.
No Payment Required
With No Payment Required turned on, all payment methods in the store will be disabled and orders placed will have “no payment required” applied as the payment method.
Here is what no payment method looks like on the storefront:
This what the order will display when no payment method is used.
You can see this information by selecting the Orders button, and then select the pencil (edit) button on an order you would like to view, and then select the Payments tab.
Show Shipping Address Selection
The switch to Show Shipping Address Selection allows you to control whether or not the user will have the ability to enter a shipping address at checkout. Keep in mind this is for all users and not just a specific group.
When this is turned off, you will be presented with fields where you can input a shipping address which will be used for all orders. If you choose to do this, and you’re using integrated shipping in your store, unless you have a valid shipping address entered in that section, the shipping integration may fail and rates may not be generated if the address entered is invalid. After entering the address you want used for ALL orders in the store, select “save changes.”
Here is how this looks on the storefront when the shipping address section is turned off:
Show Shipping Method Selection
The switch to Show Shipping Method Selection allows you to control whether or not the user will have the ability to select a shipping method at checkout. Keep in mind this is for all users and not just a specific group.
When Show Shipping Method Selection is turned off, all orders will automatically have the "No Shipping Method" option applied to the order.
Here is how it looks on the storefront when Shipping Methods are turned off:
Enable in Hands Date
With Enable in Hands Date switched to on, a calendar will be displayed on the checkout page, allowing the shopper to select an in-hands date. Note, Shipping Method Selection must be turned on to see the In Hands Date switch.
Here is how it looks on the storefront when In-Hands Date is turned on:
Show Billing Address Selection
The switch to Show Billing Address Selection allows you to control whether or not the user will have the ability to enter a billing address at checkout. Keep in mind this is for all users and not just a specific group.
If Show Billing Address Selection is turned off, you will be presented with fields where you can input a billing address which will be used for all orders. Please note, payments placed via credit card or ACH will fail because shoppers are unable to enter the billing address registered for the account holder making the credit card or ACH transaction.
Here is what it would like on the storefront with Billing Address Selection turned off:
Domestic Shipping Address Validation
If you need DOMESTIC shipping addresses validated against USPS's database of addresses, you can activate the toggle for Domestic Shipping Address Validation.
With this setting on, the user's address is validated against USPS's system and if the address is invalid, an error will be returned stating "Address validation failed. Please check your shipping address." USPS will also return suggestions if their system is able to. The shopper can use the suggested address edits to proceed through checkout if they receive an error.
Custom Data Collections Name
This field allows you to determine the section title displayed for your Custom Data Collections on the checkout page. Click here for more information on setting up Custom Data Collections.
Here is what it looks like on the storefront when a Custom Data Collections Name is entered.
Budget Credit Card Support
If you're using a payment gateway on your store and need to allow shoppers to still select a budget, you can activate the toggle for Budget Credit Card Support (1), then click Save (2) when finished. Keep in mind, by default, budget buckets and credit card payments don't normally mix nor is this something we standardly support. However, if you require, you can collect credit card payment and have shoppers choose a budget bucket.
