USPS Integrated Rate Estimates

This tutorial will show you how to setup the USPS integrated shipping feature to calculate live shipping rate estimates at checkout.

Set Up an Account with USPS

In order to calculate shipping rates through USPS you need to set up a USPS.com Account if you do not already have one by visiting: https://reg.usps.com/entreg/RegistrationAction_input.

Enter the Account Information into the Shipping Setup

1. Access the Shipping page.
2. Click into the USPS section.
3. Click to Connect USPS Shipping. This will direct you away from the Company Stores platform to sign into your USPS.com Account as shown below:

1. Click to Enable USPS Shipping.
2. Negotiated rates: Click to enable if you are using a USPS account that receives negotiated rates and want to charge your rates vs USPS published rates. Negotiated Rates are your contract rates established with USPS and your USPS Account Representative.
3. Modify Rate: You can modify your shipping rates by selecting the + sign to increase your rates, or the - sign to decrease your rates.  Enter your discount amount and select the increase/decrease to be a percent or dollar format.
4. Ship Methods: Select your desired USPS shipping methods.
5. Click to Save.

Add Weights and Dimensions to Products

When using integrated rates, all products must have a shipping weight and dimensions entered. 

1. Access the Product page and click the pencil (edit) icon for the product you want to modify.
2. Click into the Setup section.
3. Click into the Shipping tab.
4. Enter the Shipping Weight and Shipping Dimensions for this product.
5. Shipping Modifier - This is an options field and will add a shipping amount each time this product is ordered.
6. If required, set the Custom Origin Address for the item, or keep this set as Default Shipping Origin Address.
7. Click to Save changes.
