Activate Organization Catalog on the "Source Store"
To begin, enable the Organization Catalog feature on the "source store", meaning the store you wish to copy the products from. This will make it so the "source store" will appear in the Catalog and Product Copy features.
- Access the Features page.
- Verify you are on the Features section.
- For the Organization Catalog option, toggle the Active button to on.
Access Products from the "Source Store" using Catalogs or Product Copy
Once the feature is activated on the source store, it will be ready to view that catalog information in any of the other stores under your organization. You would just need to log into the admin area for another one of your stores and select the “products” tab.
Catalogs Example
Catalogs allows you to drag products from a vendor catalog into existing categories in your store. This feature lets you use your own categories and it doesn’t pull over the category shown in the catalog. Here is a link to an article which goes over using this feature in more detail.
Product Copy Example
Product copy allows you to create an actual copy of a product in your store. This means you can copy the product into the store and once it has been added to your product list (under the “Products” tab), you can edit the product as needed. Here is a link to an article which goes into more detail about using this feature.
