Store Templates

This article walks you through how to use Store Templates to quickly build Company Stores using ready-to-use designs instead of starting from scratch. Each template comes with a professionally designed layout and a curated selection of products, all of which can be customized after you select a template.

Create Store from Template

1. Navigate to the “Sites” page
2. Click the “New Site” button
3. Enter details for your new store including:
   1. Site Domain
   2. Subdomain
   3. Company Name
   4. Industry 
   5. Store Type
4. Click “Create from Template” button

View the Template Library

Select from a variety of templates based on your customers’ unique brand and program needs. Templates are designed around common customer use cases to help you get started quickly.

Note: Templates may not be available for all categories yet. New templates will continue to be added over time. 

Preview A Template

1. Click the ‘Preview’ button on the template preview image to view the storefront, categories, products, and other features included in the template. 

Note: Edits can be made to the store after a template is selected. 

2. Once you’ve selected a template store, click the ‘Continue’ button. 

3. Select if you would like to use the following from the template:
   • Design and Products - Include both the complete design and all products from the template
   • Design Only - Use the template's visual design, layout, and styling without any products
   • Products Only - Import only the products, keeping your current store design

Note: Your Store Template will launch in Demo Mode. A $25/month hosting fee applies during Demo Mode, and orders can't be placed until the store is launched. After launch, standard hosting fees apply and orders can be placed. See pricing for details.

4. Click the “Create Store” button. Once your store is created, you can make any adjustments to the design, product selection, payment method, and more. 

Customize A Template

These sections detail the portions of your store that you can customize after its creation, and our Store Launch Checklist also goes over specific portions to keep in mind when finalizing your new store. Please keep in mind that you may not be able to edit portions of the site since the Template may still be bringing in additional assets.

How are Store Templates different than Store Layouts? 

• Store Templates are pre-built, professionally designed stores that include curated products and design elements. Select from a variety of templates—including Company Swag, Employee Uniforms, Retail, and more—designed around common customer programs to help you get started quickly.
• Store Layouts provide a structural starting point for your store, offering a basic layout without any pre-applied designs or products. Choose from three layout options: Classic, Modern, or Stylistic.
