Push Orders into ASI Smartbooks

Push Orders allows you to automatically or manually transmit order data to a third party system.  You may need additional product/program configuration which can be done with ASI’s help.

Activate Order Push Feature

1. Access the Features section.
2. Click into the Add-Ons section.
3. Order Push - Toggle On.  Click Approve if you agree to an additional monthly support fee. Click Close or Set Up Now to continue.

Set up the Integration

1. Access the Integrations section.
2. Click into Push Orders.
3. Click Setup.
4. Push Method - Select ASI SmartBooks from the dropdown.
5. Failure notification E-Mails - You may enter email address(s) to be notified of a failure.
6. Automatically Push Orders - Toggle this to On if you would like orders to be pushed automatically. If you do not want to, leave off and see screenshots below with alternatives.
7. Save - Click to save changes.

Enter ASI Smartbooks Credentials

1. Click ASI SmartBooks.
2. Enter your ASI Smartbooks API URL, Client ID, Client Secret, Program Code, Customer Code and Account Balance (GC) SKU. If you are unsure what these values are (with the exception of Account Balance (GC) SKU), we recommend working with ASI's support team on determining this.
   The Account Balance (GC) SKU is the SKU that will appear for account balance payments in the order pushed to Smartbooks.
3. Save - Click to save changes.

Manual Ways to Push Orders

(If you do not turn on Automatically Push Orders)

1. Access the Orders section.
2. Click Push Order.

Or you can push the order from the “order details” page (to get here, select “edit” on an order).
