Time to get excited, we are excited to announce the latest round of improvements, changes, and bug fixes. Even though it probably won't take us this long, we'd like for you to plan for up to four hours of downtime on Tuesday, April 20th at 10:00 p.m. MDT.
New Features
Added Built-In Image Editor
- Ability to crop, rotate, resize, filter, fine-tune, annotate, and adjust images directly within the Bright Sites Admin.
- Includes product images, category banners, logos, store designer (both visual designer and code files) and pages.
API & Billing Updates
- SAML, Punchout, Order Push, and OCI hits will no longer count toward the API Mega Store fee limit.
- All other API calls will continue to count toward the limit (including the JSON SSO).
- New Version of the API: 2.0.0
- New Endpoint: Inventories
- Shows inventory levels for all items in a store.
- Ability to batch update inventory levels for an item.
- Added updated_at to order show.
- Added updated_at filter to product listing.
- Added option & sub-option data to product show.
- Added image_url to sub-options API.
- API time changed to UTC.
- New Endpoint: Inventories
- Added ability to setup email warning triggers to help manage costs.
- Added 30 day API hit breakdown report to help manage overhead costs.
Updates
- The new user confirmation email can now be delayed, allowing the confirmation email to be sent at a later date.
- Added MOAS Approver/Denier information to custom report.
- Added ability to prefix Avalara order number to reduce order collisions.
- Avalara company code is now required.
- Various bug fixes, security updates, and performance enhancements.
