Bright Sites System Updates & New Features [11/02/2021 at 10:00pm MT] – Bright Stores

Good Afternoon!

Time to get excited! We have a new round of system enhancements and new features to share. Even though it probably won't take us this long, we'd like for you to plan for up to four hours of downtime Tuesday, November 2nd at 10:00 p.m. MDT.

New Features

Logos can now be permissioned to only work with specific colors.*
Products can now be assigned different warehouse addresses allowing for more accurate shipping estimates and taxes (when used with Avalara). LEARN MORE>>
New, easy configuration for USPS rates.

Minor Updates

Copy custom shipping tables from one store to another.
Minor changes to FedEx, UPS, and USPS rates:
- Added ability to get residential rates for FedEx and UPS (if address validation is turned on).
- Added ability to get negotiated rates for FedEx.
- Some rate names updated to match the current name (for example, FedEx Ground Home Delivery is now FedEx Home Delivery and UPS Next Day Air Early A.M. is now UPS Next Day Air Early). If you need a full list, please reach out to by submitting a ticket here .
- Some rate methods removed as they were no longer needed (for example, FedEx 1 Day Freight).
- Updated UPS SurePost to better handle multiple order scenarios.
Ability to pin open filters section in the admin.
Added vendor name to bulk edit.
Various bug fixes.
Various security updates.
