FOLLOW-UP (10/28/2020 11:00am MT) - Last night we determined that the cause of yesterday's down time was due to an incident with the Google Cloud Platform.
Google Cloud Storage was experiencing issues in the central region (where our system is hosted). We have redundancy built in across the zone level, but as the entire Central Region was affected the issue remained.
In an effort to gain better visibility into issues such as this, we will be increasing our internal logging and alerting. This will help us to more quickly determine issues initiating from Google Cloud Storage in the future.

UPDATE (3:30pm MT) - Thank you for your patience today as Bright Stores experienced a system outage. The Bright Sites system is currently back online and after monitoring it for nearly an hour, it is working normally.
We have isolated the issue and will continue to investigate to better understand the cause.
We will add notifications here, to our Support Suite with updates as we gain better understanding of the cause of this outage.
UPDATE (2:49pm MT) - The Bright Sites system is currently back online. We continue to work through this occurrence to ensure that it will remain accessible.
We will follow up with more information as we know it.
UPDATE (2:03pm MT) - The BrightSites system has been experiencing issues since 12:20pm MT. Our development team as well as extended teams continue to work diligently to determine the cause and remediate it as quickly as we can.
