Bright Orders & Simple Store Updates - April 23rd at 10:00pm MTN

Good Morning! 

We are always working behind the scenes to make sure you and your clients have the best Order Management and Simple Store experience as possible. We will be updating the Bright Orders system to make various performance enhancements.  Even though it probably won't take us this long, please plan for up to six hours of downtime on Tuesday, April 23rd at 10:00 p.m. MTN.  During this time, here's what we'll be working on:

Major Improvements to the Bright Orders Infrastructure

These improvements will allow Bright Orders to better handle traffic bursts by auto-scaling for varying system workloads.

PromoStandards Update to Support Additional Suppliers

Various Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

Good Morning! 

We will be performing various security updates to the BrightStores (Co-Store)  system on two separate occasions next week: 

Tuesday, April 23rd at 11:30 p.m. MTN and Wednesday, April 24th at 11:00 p.m MTN

We expect the system to be down for no more than 30 minutes during both of these updates.  Keep in mind, this will not affect the Bright Sites Company Store platform.

We're always working behind the scenes to make sure you and your clients have the best Company Store experience possible. We'll be updating the Bright Sites system to bring you more features and enhancements. Even though it probably won't take us this long, we'd like for you to plan for up to six hours of downtime on:

Tuesday, March 26th at 10:00 p.m. MTN. 

We realize maintenance windows are never fun for you or your clients, which is why we schedule outside of business hours. And, when you log in the next morning, there's a few things to be excited about!

NEW! Order information can now be automatically sent to participating suppliers via API. 

NEW! Added Tax Code to the Order API and Custom Report Builder

Various bug fixes, minor updates, and security updates.

NEW! URL Option for Simple Stores

NEW! Simple Store Product Personalization Field

  • Add a field to capture personalization details for each product. 

NEW! Product Sales Report

  • New standard report available for you to manage product sales.

NEW! Simple Store Checkout Field Options

  • Option to hide the checkout fields to shoppers.
  • Option to set default values in the checkout fields. 

Updated Simple Store Setup Options

  • Create a new client directly from the Simple Store creation dialog. 
  • Add credit card gateways without leaving your store setup. 

Updated Simple Store Product Options

  • You can now use product options beyond size and color.

Other Updates

  • Zip Code Tax Rates have been updated. 
  • Minor changes to tutorials for ease of use. 
  • Various bug fixes, minor updates, and security updates.

[March 1st, 2019] Bright Sites New Features & System Updates

Good Afternoon!

We are working on updating our supplier product databases in the Bright Sites and  Bright Orders systems and would like to share some changes with you. 

The following catalogs are now available via PromoStandards:

  • Gemline Catalog
  • HIT Promotional Products Catalog 
  • PCNA Catalog (includes Leeds, Bullet Line, Journal Books, and Trimark)
  • S&S Activewear Catalog
  • Starline Catalog
  • Vantage Catalog
     

Because we are now syncing HIT's Promotional Products Catalog and Gemline's Catalog through PromoStandards, we will be removing their previous catalogs from our system. Additionally, we will be removing any catalogs dated 2014, 2015, and 2016 on Friday, March 1st. This is an effort to clean up our database and maintain the most current products and product options for you to use. 

If you are using products from these suppliers with our Catalogs or Catalogs 2.0 feature, you will need to switch to one of the new catalogs before Friday, March 1st.
