We are dedicated to providing you with the best Simple Store and Order Management experience possible. As part of our continued effort, we will be updating the Bright Orders system on Wednesday, April 25th, at 10:00 p.m. MTN. Expect up to six hours of downtime as we complete the following updates:

  • PromoStandards Implementation: Supplier database will be automatically updated using PromoStandards data (for suppliers who support PromoStandards). 
  • Spreedly Integration for credit card processing: Improved security and PCI compliance.
  • Quantity Discount Groups: Advanced quantity discounts based off product options. 
  • Minor security updates and bug fixes.

• Square Payment Gateway: Adding additional credit card gateway.
• Gift Certificate Management Page: Updating to add new Redeemed On date field.
• Shipping Exempt Product Feature: Adding new feature to allow products to be exempt from shipping calculations. 
• Product Export: Adding Sold, View, and Active product fields to the product export CSV file.
• Minor security updates and bug fixes.

Bright Sites System Maintenance - 9:00p.m. MTN, Tuesday, April 10th

Good Morning!

As part of our continued effort to provide you with the best Company Store experience possible, we will be updating the Bright Sites system TONIGHT, April 10th, at 9:00 p.m. MTN. Expect up to six hours of downtime as we complete the following updates:

  • Upgrading the Ruby on Rails framework for performance and security.
  • Limiting the low inventory trigger email to show no more than 500 low inventory combos.
  • Various minor updates and bug fixes.

Important TLS Disablement Notice

Hello! 

As you may be aware, new PCI DSS requirements state that all systems must disable early TLS by June 30th, 2018. In preparation for this requirement, BrightStores plans on disabling TLS 1.0 and 1.1 on June 26th, 2018. All systems will be affected by this change: 

  • Bright Sites
  • BrightStores / Co-Store
  • Billing Platform
  • BrightStores.com

If you have any punchouts, SSO's, or custom integrations, please check the code for your solutions and systems to confirm they can default to TLS 1.2.

Please also verify your computers are up-to-date as old operating systems and browsers will no longer be able to access our systems after the disablement date. These browsers/systems include, but are not limited to:

  • Windows XP
  • Internet Explorer 7 on Windows Vista
  • Internet Explorer 8-10 on Windows 7

Please note that roughly 99% of shoppers will not be affected by this change. If you have any questions, please contact support@brightstores.com
