Automatically Update Order Status to Paid if Order is Paid for

    Hello Becky,

    Can you provide us with further clarification on this feature request? For example, you state that "once an order is paid for" we automatically set the status to "Paid." However, payment is collected during the checkout process (credit card, account balance, and/or custom payment method) so I'm not sure I follow where any additional payment is being collected. Do you have an example use-case in your store you can provide us with? 

    Please let us know on the above and we'll discuss this further internally. I'll follow-up with a comment on your post once we have had a chance to review this further.

    Hi Akhil,

    I talked to someone in support chat and they said a "Paid" order status can only be set manually and to post a suggestion in the community. We have orders that show payment has been completed but did not move into paid status, which is why I contacted support chat about it. It doesn't make sense for an order to not automatically be set to "Paid" status if the payment was made during checkout.
